Dr. Jake Willhite is excited and grateful for the opportunity to provide treatment for the Bloomington community. He met his wife while studying at Indiana University Bloomington, and Bloomington has always felt like a second home to him.
He is passionate about providing patients with an aesthetically pleasing and healthy smile for the rest of their lives. His goal is to offer exceptional orthodontic treatment in an effective and efficient manner while providing patients with a healthcare experience that is unrivaled anywhere else.
Education
Originally from Rising Sun, Indiana, Dr. Willhite attended Indiana University – Bloomington, graduating with a Biology major and minors in Chemistry and Psychology.
Pursuing his desire to join the dental profession, he continued his studies at the Indiana University School of Dentistry for his Doctorate of Dental Surgery, followed by Indiana University School of Dentistry Department of Orthodontics and Oral Facial Genetics for his Master of Science in Dentistry.
He believes that continuing education is essential to stay up to date with the latest trends and advancements in treatment, and to provide his patients with the best care possible. By carefully evaluating these advances and considering the impact on treatment, he applies this new information to effectively and efficiently treat his patients.

Outside the Office
Outside of his work, Dr. Willhite enjoys spending time with his family. He and his wife have been married for more than five years and have a daughter, Riley. When he’s not at work, Dr. Willhite enjoys time with family, especially being outdoors and attending sporting events, such as IU football games. When time allows, he can be found on the golf course.
